The spookiest ride at the fair! What fair wouldn’t be complete without a ghost train? Ours is totally unique, its not based on any real ghost train and was built in just over a week after Judi suggest the next build.
It’s quite a simple build, basically it’s just a rectangular box with the ghost train theming at the front. It wasn’t built to make it look like it should fold up onto a lorry but the end extensions do fold back and this help it pack into its carrying case.
The drive mechanism is straightforward with a chain drive running in a loop which is driven by a large motor mounted vertically behind the centre wall. There’s an illuminated Dracula where the cars stop for passengers and some green LED lighting for effect!
The model has also been displayed in the Sheffield Meadowhall LEGO store, in the showcase display unit.
