What fairgound wouldn’t be complete without a Miami?
Ours was designed in house and actually looks like real life trailer mounted ride. Indeed most of it folds like the real thing and you’ll find a steerable drawbar at one end and road lights etc at the rear,
Designed to be as compact and self contained as possible, it was built from the ground up and is driven by a large motor under the ride centre. Gears run up the rear of the ride to driver the gondola. It operates a simple program thanks to the connected Sbrick which is a third party bluetooth controller, The ride also features RGB lighting.
All artwork was printed onto self adhesive photo paper.
For Bricktastic 2025, we were asked to build something for the GayFols display. We were thrilled to be asked and decided on building a second version of our Miami.
Here’s the new version taken with yours truly!
